letterpal allows you to add your own RSS feeds in the News Room. This means you can add any RSS source and use the content it provides and use them to generate a newsletter.
Adding an RSS feed
To add an RSS feed, start by accessing the Custom RSS section.
If you already have feeds, you can simply click the ‘Add feed’ button. If this is your first feed, you’ll be prompted to fill out the proper fields.
Simply give the feed a name and add the URL. As soon as you add the feed, letterpal will fetch the last 30 news from it.
You can add multiple RSS feeds to your selection, and we will pull all the latest news from all the feeds every time you access this section.
Creating an RSS feed from scratch
Did you know you can create your own RSS feeds if they don’t exist yet?
This is useful if there’s a source (such as your blog) you’d like to add but for which you don’t have an RSS feed yet.
Using PolitePol, you can actually create one from any website for free. There are others but they all seem to have some sort of paid subscription or fee.
